I get the manager has to take some blame.

But just there, what can he do if Rashford skies he ball a mile wide, or a young blasts wide, or Herrera blasts wide.

I'll blame the manager in part because you have to. But we have a handful of players who just are so so poor at the moment...backup players who've been put into the first team and aren't stepping up at all.

These players may have cost a lot of money but few are fit to wear the shirt. I know we have started the season well but some of the performances have been abject despite winning.

Not many of these players would be near the squad of ten years ago.

Ozil is extremely talented but I question his character and mental strength. When the overall team confidence is high he can be lethal, but I would be worried about his contribution in a game like this where all the players around him are playing sh1te.

herrera constantly running parallel to the ball.
The midfield are playing too far from lukaku when the ball drops they are nowhere to be seen huddersfield getting to the ball first all the time

Just too many players out there who aren't good enough.

Mkhitaryan, Herrera, Young, Lingard, Valencia, Lindelof... none of them anywhere near good enough for a club with an title ambitions. Smalling and Mata are debatable.

It's a sad state of affairs that despite massive, massive investment, the squad is still really poor.

A team with title ambitions cannot have Lingard, Young, Mkhi and a back two of Smalling and Lindelof. Martial cannot be relied on either, neither can Mata. And Herrera has been having a dreadful season.

Lukaku is getting too isolated, as is Rashford but they got a goal today. Matic is great and looks a steal.

We have so many players who just are far, far too prone to just ****ting the bed...
