Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Playing like we are the away team.

Its a shame we start Martial at LW and he has a terrible game then gets dropped because he's lethal in a front 2, that game today would suit him nicely

    Mkhitaryan is absolute shíte.

    Mkhitaryan stink again

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,981 ✭✭✭BenK

Pogba is such a huge loss to the team. There's very little drive/creativity from midfield. Not the only issue but he makes such a massive difference.

Mkhi and Herrera are continuing their recent form

What has DDG done to his hair...

    Both horrific.

Miki's now getting out muscled by a child.

    Hugely concerning

He looks lazy and lethargic, easily bundled off the ball and he looks disinterested in helping out in midfield

    And also add sloppy passing

    Young on the wind up

The team doesn't seem able to get the ball up the field apart from hitting 50-50 balls over the top. Spurs doing a good job of stifling any counters before they even cross the half way line.

That’s a free and a yellow against Aurier.. imagine that was Fellaini.. there would be calls for a red

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

The problem with us is Lingard could replace any attacker in this side and it wouldn’t be a noticeable drop in quality, despite Lingard being pretty shít truthfully in terms of a big club looking to win big trophies.

    Better feom Mikhi there.

miki needs to be pulled absolute passenger

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

Young doing well, we could do with him sticking around now. That's 6 PL starts on a row now so hopefully he's no longer looking to leave.

Mkhitaryan needs dropping and a serious kick up the arse.

He is way better than what he is showing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

    Mkhitaryan off, McTominay on.

Something to compete with Spurs' midfield.

So happy to have Bailly back.

Can't wait to see Rojo in with Bailly and Jones

Rash maybe but I'm really starting to doubt Mkhitaryan's long term suitability for United. His attitude doesn't seem good enough for a club with United's aspirations.

1 attempt on goal in a half is bad

    Smalling has been good

I can see Alli getting the line.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15

Could do with an extra body in midfield. Not sure if 3 centre backs is necessary.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

What I gathered from the first half - Potchettinos coat is class

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

After that I have an awful feeling Jose is gonna play for a draw now!

Miki needs to come off . Offering fcuk all and can't pass to save his life. Lingard on

Would be delighted if we could switch him with Dele for the second half.

No quality whatsoever in that first half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,511 ✭✭✭VW 1

Seeing defenders and keepers panicking on the ball as Rashford closes them down is gas.

Young excellent, mkhi floating between poor and anonymous.

Would like to see martial for mkhi if he doesn't improve in the first ten mins.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,981 ✭✭✭BenK

What's so infuriating about Mkhitaryan, and even Martial, is their seeming willingness to accept that when things aren't going their way that it's just not going to be their day. You can't carry players like that at top clubs. They clearly both have great ability, they produce flashes here and there but it's not good enough overall. I'd give Martial a bit more leeway because of his age but it's an ongoing issue.

Rashford on the other hand works his socks off regardless of how he's doing and generally makes an impact even if he has started poorly.

Done alright in that half I thought. Gettting killed a bit as expected in midfield.

Rashford and Young have been very good. Miki brutal and Jones a bit all over the place.

I hope we see the high press again like the first ten minutes.

I'm not sure Pogba is good enough to turn this team around by himself. Needs another outlet to help. KDB, Eriksen type player is what united need too on top of Pogba. Mkhi isn't title winning standard despite his german promise. Had too many chances now

Mkhitaryan is starting to play..... little late like

I'd say he got a serious rocket up the hole at HT.

How hard can it be for a professional footballer to cross a ball in to find someone's head instead of kicking it along the ground surely it can't be hard even if you were a **** crosser you would have be to be someway successful if you were trying it.

Pochettino going for it with those subs.

Really poor corner taking from Man Utd... such a basic skill that these millionaires seem to have missed

Fúcking hell, this is Andy Carroll-esque from Lukaku.

Less worried bout Chelsea than I would be of Spurs right now tbh...
