Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Guess it’s bye bye Shaw, not even on the bench today!

Smalling prone to moments of madness, and Lindelof not exactly inspiring confidence since he came. Think the two can be got at.

I actually think Smalling has been having a decent season and Lindleof has showed signs of why Jose purchased him.

    I'm staying patience.

Rashford is making a poor decision about every 90 seconds so far.

Team playing like they woke up 10 minutes before kick off.

Too much play on the wings when they need to be getting Pogba and Mata on it through the middle. Happens too much when an organised outfit come to town. No willingness to attempt something and play the safe ball out wide.

Which is useless with Dunk & Duffy doing what they do all season.

ht Zlatan on, take your pick who to take off, very poor

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭Quandary

Christ we've been poor. I can't remember Ryan having to make a save.

    Worrying first half.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

    All very pedestrian.

Another Pogba injury could be devasting for our season

    Pogba, oh no!!!!!

Pogba is the only one who seems to want to do anything so him getting hurt will be a disaster.

No sense of urgency from anyone bar Pogba and Young.

Need Fellaini on to free up some space for Lukaku with crosses.

Might aswell talk Mata off if we have no interest in trying to slice through them. Throw on Fellaini and Ibra and keep firing crosses at Duffy/Dunk.

Hope pogbas knee is OK. We really do need to have him available for our next few games.

If he's at risk with a knock take him off. Cannot afford to lose him again.

    Yep, 100% agree.

There’s no way Brighton will keep that intensity up for 90 minutes. We haven’t been great but we will break them down eventually.

The midfield again doesn’t work imo and leaves us wide open.

Valencia and Rashford have been very poor. Simple things like passing the ball are letting us down. It’s down to application rather than intense pressure from Brighton.

I actually think we aren’t playing it wide enough. It’s the best way to get behind a packed defence. Through the middle is just playing into their hands although we may get some success when they inevitably tire.

Hopefully Jose went in on the players and we batter them this half

But then we hit the long standing problem of having **** all delivery worth talking about from wide areas, the right side in particular.

Best thing Lindelof has done at United. Clattered him.

Edit: Throw on Mkhitaryan for Mata. He's been that fúcking awful.

    Mata been dreadful
And leaves so much space in midfield
    No covering

When I watch Lukaku, I wonder how the feck he's a footballer at a top club. Sure, he can finish, but he does nothing else. His touch is woeful, his passing is shocking, and he's one of the laziest guys around.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

The Mata as part of a midfield three really has to stop.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

    Get in. Young meant that.

And then he goes and throws a kick at a guy

    Haha will take that.

All set up by “lazy” Lukaku.

Yea was just going to say
He's been working really hard this half

He's useless. Sooner Ibra is back and able to go 90, and he's on the bench, the better

Well Ibra is back and both are on the pitch. Not a hope of him being dropped.

Calling him useless just makes you look silly.

Brighton are a lot better than i thought theyd be.

Hopefully we get on the ball more and get another.

they have, the amount of balls fizzed across our goal from Youngs side has been mental today

After Lindelof's strong challenge on Knockaert (I think) that got the crowd going, Martial had possession centrally and rather than take on the defence, played it out wide to Valencia. Who proceeded to do what he does best and bruised the ankle of the first man.

And for that penalty claim around the 75th minute, he initially outmuscled the Brighton player, but still couldn't get the cross past him ,despite said player only getting himself back up off the floor. He is a parody of himself at this stage.

But if we can see that is end product is not up to scratch, why is a perpetual out-ball on the right? Mind boggles.

Worst game in a United shift for Matic. Off the pace all game.

Not for me. They may still get a draw here but they're just another timewasting, bus parking pack of shíthouses.
