Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The whole early character assassination Lindelof received at the start of his United career just shows that certain sectors of United's fanbase aren't adverse to the same over-reactionary criticism that Liverpool fans are mocked for :D

Now that Lindelof is getting on top of his defensive duties we then
start to reap the dividends of him being a defender that uses the ball excellently - what he was bought for.

Thats dont mean we wont mock them....

In fairness Victor made some bad mistakes some people just don't give players time but he was excellent last season in Portugal made tots it was only a matter of time.

    It's been 3 games.

Lets see how he copes against Arsenal and City.

Nose bleed territory if that went in :D

For the person who's been consistantly impatient with him
Your suddenly showing patient when he's playing well?

The same applies to Ashley Young's defensive capacity too to be fair

Where did you get patient from that post?

3 good games has me far from convinced. He can begin to shut me up if he comes through the next two games without melting down.

It doesn't. Young has been solid for much longer than Lindelof.

It can't. Young has been solid for much longer than Lindelof.

I mean in a negative manner. Why not overreacted and tell us he's as good as Maldini now?
    See how it works?

Excellent first half, we look threatening whenever we go forward.

Just what we need before the Arse on Saturday.

This is great and all but I really hope we play three in the middle the next two games. Otherwise our midfield will be taken apart.

Great to see a few goals again and boy what beauties all three were.

I said after the Chelsea match Rojo going in on the left of the back 3 could help solidify it. Very solid this half. Rojo was a big miss.

Jose looked like a man that debated bring Young into his FF team and then he scores a double and he was like WTF :D

He probably wasn't the only one who was thinking WTF.

Arsenals midfield consists of Xhaka and ramsey and perhaps either wishere or coquelin.

We should be dominating them in midfield with Pogba and Matic

Jesus that free kick gets better every time . Jose's reaction is gold

I hope he can carry this form throughout the season. Surely he deserves a place on the England squad going to Russia next summer if he keeps this up

Lukaku had a part to play in 2 of goals. Assist for Martial goal and a nice turn and pass into Lingard in the build up to the first .Its good to see,he is more than the lazy poacher some would like to make him out to be.

I think we will if there is a 3rd midifilder played
    I agree with adox
Jesse has come in as direct replacement for Mata but the formation hasn't changed all that much
I'd prefer fellani or Herrera in a alongside Matic with Pogba in front

He has been doing this consistently throughout the season and doesn't get any credit for it
    Playing really well again

They will easily pass their way through those two imo. That’s Arsenal as a team, not any particular midfielders. Watfords midfield is strolling through it when they get the chance.

We won’t get away with it against better opposition.

Third centre back relieves a lot of the trouble caused by two in midfield.

Feels like the formation has changed quite significantly but we still don't seem to have that midfield dominance.

Yeah I questioned the keeper as its his side and he did move but looking at it again, it’s an incredible free kick which he may have struggled to save I even if he held his position.

pogba matic and fellaini would bully the arsenal midfield. they have played a lot of the season with 2 in midfield. if we match them with 2 or they play 3 and we play 3 we still dominate them

But he's been playing like this all season

Fellaini in for Matic assuming he is injured?

Will Fellaini be back for the weekend? If so we might just about mange in midfield without Matic.

    Seriously, Lukaku? Christ.
