I'd be resting them regardless, at home against CSKA I'd be expecting the fringe players to be good enough. And if not, its worth finding that out now when we have the safety net.

The big thing with ddg is that Jose said last summer if he wanted to go he could go he won't stand in his way.

I think ddg is happy at United for the time been if we continue to improve the team and he thinks we can challenge for major honours.

Take the same 3-5 posters out of there, and the match threads might be a place we'd finally venture in to and use once again in numbers. Rather than United fans being the minority in the match threads, as the situation is now. Rather than most of us peaking in cautiously in the aftermath as if it were the scene of some gruesome mass murder, as the situation is now.

I don't mind unpopular opinions at all, ones that differ from mine, people talking against United, cheering their losses and misfortune, or even people just shít-posting complete fallacies like 'My dog is better with a football than Paul Pogba'. Once they're all genuine opinions and beliefs according to those who post them. Differing and unpopular opinions are welcome and necessary, otherwise the place becomes an echo chamber.

However there are a select few who are constantly on the wind-up these days. They couldn't give a fúck about discussing football, engaging in a genuine debate, or objectively calling a football game or a situation. Ruining and/or derailing a United match-thread appears to be a weekly hobby to them. I can't even outright blame the mods or directly report one post to them, because these posters have their routine carefully mastered to a fine art by now.

May that Arsenal/United match thread sink as quickly and dramatically as the hope of the 'neutrals' when Lingard hit his second last Saturday.

But United set our to do a job and could easily have scored 3 more if you look at the chances Lukaku and Lingard had. Arsenal were v poor at times at the back and deserved to concede more.

Did you see Wengers press conference after the game. He kind of agreed with the claim they should have won 5-2. I love seeing his face after a loss . He's the most bitter sorest loser in the game. Will see every incident that goes against his side but goes blind when they get the rub of the green
