Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should be a good game this. I'd say a draw is the best result for us

If we're talking title challenges, a Liverpool win is comfortably the best result. One team are 12s for the league, the other 11/8

    What was Leicester

Think mane will serve the 3 game ban? Him not playing could screw them big time

There's no way that's getting overturned.

He'll only miss 2 league games Burnley & Leicester.
Other game is in the league cup.

Tbh he's a headcase, I'm more surprised that it has taken him this long to say anything.. thought he would have been across the back pages days after been sacked

Probably had to keep quite for the third year of his contract that was paid up.

How did you replace a striker with a midfielder?

Did somebody here mention before that we should have signed Ox.Lol.
His talent is like a spectacular sunset obscured by cloud, people swear it's there but many more just can't see it.

What difference does that make. City would have a greater chance of upsetting United for the league than Liverpool, whether they win lost or drew today. Odds are a simple way of reflecting that

I brought in Firimino too and removed Willian.

Liverpools GD taking a beating too.

    Might help down the line

Liverpool fans won't be holding up 5 fingers for a while after that result.

Should help their quest for a top 8 berth alright.

Not sure how I feel about the result. Really don't want City getting confident and going on a run of impressive wins.

That being said, seeing the shambles that is the Liverpool defence being exposed and humiliated was entertaining.

Hopefully we can get the 3 points against Stoke now.

Had a bet on Pool to score two but not at all upset at that.

Can't believe how cowardly Pool were when they went two down. Klopp parked the bus and went to hoofball. Not at all worried about Pool and a top four challange based on that performance.

Kenny Cunningham I think it was when he tried and failed miserably to go all Eamo.

Well that was bloody hilarious :D:D

City are fantastic going forward no doubt but they looked shambolic at the back before Mane was sent off. They took the lead against the run of play and looked a lot worse defensively than Liverpool when it was 11v11.

While not one to miss an opportunity to basque in the misery of Mersey side

I think for us it was the worst of the possible outcomes today.

    3 points badly needed today.

They must have left the bus parked up on Merseyside for a while,it looked like it had no doors or windows.:)

Hardly lovely, the title favourites hammered a team going for top 4 and went top of the table.themselves. draw or liverpool win was the perfect result for us, but in terms of slagging the oppossition fans then yes it was perfect

Adox called Herrera being brought back in and Mikhi out wide.

Away to a bogey side after almost all rivals won.

    Uh-oh...

Keep forgetting that Matic plays for us. Then I remember and it makes me more confident about each match. His composure and defensive contribution is what we have needed for years.

Matic broke my heart on Tuesday with the amount of times he was in the right place at the right time so more of that today hopefully.

With Herrera starting does that mean Mkhitaryan will be moved out to the right side?

Yeah he's been poor for us there and even though he's bagged a lot of assists this season his performances have been under par in general.
