Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whose this Young chap, and where'd he come from?

Beauty of a cross from Young for Fellaini.

    Not playing great.

    Miki has been very poor.

You just know that even though we will win very comfortably, palace will score.

Mata oozes class, some of his touches in that half were sublime

    Excellent half

Mikki needs to do more, it’s criminal how talented he is to disappear in games as often as he does.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

    Meh forget it.

Yeah hes been really poor. The amount of times he give possession away cheaply is unreal.

Didn’t think it was an excellent half myself. Decent but nothing more. A bit sloppy at times and the formation still looks quite open when’s team presses forward.

You’d imagine Martial would have a field day here if he comes on.

Actually, it's frustrated me that he's tried to replicate it two or three times by taking stupid shots. Needs to calm that down. :P

Matic has given possession away a few times too, in dangerous areas. It's great that we can be playing badly and just get a goal out of nothing though.

I was laughing at that. He was listening to the crowd I think. Every time he was within 25 yards and the crowd shouted “shoooot” he seemed to have a pop.

Yep he’s been a bit loose alright. He along with a couple of others look like they are half a yard off the pace both mentally and physically

I just realised I'm sitting here thinking "Ugh, we're only 2-0 up"

I got spoiled so, so quickly :P

We need Martial to tear Ward to bits. Why wait till the last 10mins to demolish them. Lets drive up the goal difference.

Young to do a Valencia and make the LB spot his this season. Miles ahead of any other option at LB.

Against weaker opponents at home he's the best option. Not sure about the big games, but the alternatives aren't great either.

Holy god, Fellaini is on for a hatrick!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

If we get a penalty, Fellaini must be allowed to take it.

He was beaten easily enough a couple of times in the first half today. Great cross of a ball though.

Yep the spread of goals is what’s really encouraging. Of course we still have a Centre forward that is scoring for fun but we are scoring that many that loads of others are getting in on the act.

Tough run coming up now but 19 from 21 is impressive.

That's crucially the main point. No key man dependency.
And if you remember last season to this season how clinical we are in front of goal now

Fellaini was very very good again today I thought, pitt8ng aside his two goals.

Yeah a draw the best result but if there is to be a winner 8 think I’d prefer Chelsea. Even though I think they are probably favorites for the league(in my eyes) I just dint like City and want to see Utd stay top.

Short sighted I know but hey.

Win win anyway no matter what the result.

Hummed and hawed on whether or not to pick Fellaini for my Fantasy team, I am now regretting my decision, on the upside Lukaku scored :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

We've scored 4 goals in 6 of the 11 games we've played this season.

10 if you don't want to count the Super Cup.
