Problem with Simon XT Touchtalk Interactive Keypad

    Hey guys,

    we have an oldish Eircom monitored alarm that up until now has been problem free.

    The issue is with the standalone keypad, it has suddenly stopped allowing you to arm/disarm the alarm but it will respond to other inputs.
    e.g. Status & Panic Alarm works
    It will beep when you hit some numbers but not others.

    I tried changing the batters but it made no difference...any ideas?

    Also, is it possible to *only* have the keypad beep on keypress and not the main panel? Would like it to be quiet when arming at night from the panel, but beep and give the "countdown" beep when armed/activated by the frontdoor keypad.
