hp deskjet 1280 printer driver

hi folks, i have an old printer i havent used in a while. i used to use it to print A3 sized drawings. im trying to get it working on my current laptop but im struggling to find a driver for it. would anyone have any links or tips to help

iv been at it for the last 3 hours, and iv already come across that link which ends up bring it back to the same page. as far as i understand there is no specific driver for the above model and im hoping someone might know of a patch that might work. the deskjet 1220c seems to be compatible but i cant find that driver either

If your on 64bit Windows 7 or higher, you could try the Vista driver which may work, see attached (Click change OS):


If you are using 32Bit OS choose the 32Bit version! You might neede to use the Windows compatiblity mode to get it to install

you legend, got it printing. didnt need to change compatibility mode just download the correct 64bit version.
