To my limited knowledge of gambling the times are set so that there are no competing races, certainly got the uk and Ireland but perhaps France too (I’m sure someone will confirm). So if the race is at 4pm, there will be no other competing race at 4pm in Ireland or the UK.

Would still help though if you use something like this to look up results, like I did last night:

So if you just have a horse's name and the fact that it ran in the 2.20, for example, then you first have to click into all the venues just to see if there even was a 2.20 there.

Knowing that the 2.20 was at Kempton or Nottingham or anywhere else would help get to the relevants result quicker.
