    Why is a non medical person even writing in medical journal ?


    Deer is notorious anything he says has to be taking with a large grain of salt.


    Hes the same guy who robbed the medical records of sick children.

    Correct.
    It's the stupidity of listening to them and then ignoring the evidence against I was referring to as even some otherwise reasonably intelligent people might be taken in for a short period or at least look into it, but when presented with actual evidence realise their mistake.

    Well that's grossly misrepresenting what happened there. A grossly biased study with no controls. That's what happened there. He could have easily included controls which would have added some validity to his claims but oddly did'nt. He is either hiding something or is incredibly inept.

    Guessing this is why he was refused funding. Basically other researchers have been highly critical of his study because it's flawed in terms of execution plus also criticised for undeclared conflicts of interest.

    Science isn't a democracy. You do understand that, right? You don't get to vote for what's true, you prove it. This Wakefield-wannabe study rightfully was dismissed as scientifically inept. The only lesson to take from this, is that it's better that this kind of 'study' is brought to light and refuted faster than in the past.
