Just bought a house and there is a phone line but I have no way of finding out the Uan for the house if I need to get connected by broadband. How do I get this no as every time I phone eircom they ask me to put in my phone no. I have no account with eir i just want to get talking to a real person

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch. A UAN is a specific number that would only be supplied to the account holder of the previous account. For data protection reasons, we couldn't give you somebody else's UAN. Is the line in your home active?
