Unified eir account after Meteor merge?

    I have an eir account with home phone, bb, TV and multiple mobiles. I also have a mobile account with Meteor. 

    When the meteor account becomes an eir account next month, will I be able to merge the meteor account into my existing eir account for single billing/management convenience?

    I tried asking both eir and meteor chat support but got two seemingly conflicting answers (see attached)

    Would be great to get a definitive answer.

    That is correct our customer care team on 1901 or 1800 690 000 will be able to merge the two accounts.
