Patchy and yellow lawn

What would be the best way to make my lawn fill out and become more green. Am i better putting new lawn turf down. Thanks

That water soluble or put down via a spreader ? Also will it kill clover ?

I put it down with a spreader It's best to get it done ASAP as you don't want to be out cutting grass in winter.

Also make sure you're not cutting the lawn too short. My lawn was patchy and yellow as I scalped it every-time, with the right knowledge that a bit of feed/weed and keep the cuts long and frequent ensure healthy grass.

Would the Gouldings be as good as the Evergreen for a tenner cheaper?

I have a spreader for the Evergreen from getting it before but assume the amounts would be similar if I used it.
