Tuke has been really on it the last few months. I suspect he'll beat Khalsa comfortably tonight.

What does that even mean though? 'he's really on it'.

All well and good sparring/in training. Khalsa could be the same

Tukes a good fighter but id worry about his chin after them last 2 fights very young to be taking that kinda damage.

I've refused to go to any since UFC 93, went to 8 before that, i put a value on a card and they always price tickets above my value so i won't go

:D That card is one of the worst ive seen in history absolutely dreadful standard McKee and Redzer Moore are the only legit pros on the card, theres 5 people with a winning record on the main bellator card for your info

If all you are doing is comparing it to the UFC and top end American cards be Bellator then you have a point. It wasn't many years ago the best you could get here was 10 lads fighting in a hall. Now fans won't pay €50 to watch a card in the countries best venue.

Like I said, go to Cage Legacy in Drogheda, Newry or Cork, Celtic Warriors in Hallway this month or the next Battlezone card in Waterford or Dublin and you won't get a ticket for any of them for less than €20.

Well said. The Leddy at Drogheda on Halloween looked hopping. What a venue, not a bad seat in the house like the helix.

    It's quality vs quantity though.

My last local event was Chaos 17 in Derry. £25 for my ticket but I got 26 (I think) matches with a combination of no-gi grappling matches and MMA fights. Extra interest was because there were half a dozen teammates competing. And also I was front row centre because I got there in good time. There was a bar running and (I don't drink but I'm told) the prices were reasonable.

This BAMMA Bellator combo tonight has now only 11 fights I think? So you want those 11 fights to have top quality and a few big names from across the pond. On that front it just doesn't deliver. There's only a few fights that I'm interested in to be honest. Food and drink inside will be extortionate.

Plus I don't want to sit in the nosebleeds so if I had booked tickets I would have been going for the €90 seats.

I'm in Donegal so it would really need to be something special to tempt me down and this isn't it.

PS Friday events are pish. Lol

McGregor got escorted out of the building straight after. It was pretty funny but at the same time it's bang out of order from him.

If this was anyone else you'd fully expect a ban from future events will be interesting to see if they do it.

He had no business being in the cage tbh.

Everything always has to be about him.

He celebrated a mates win hes not the first to hop into a cage to celebrate, Goddard was clearly over the top physically pushing him I think.

It's generally the corner that jump in though? He was essentially there as a fan?

Fights over what harm was he doing in fairness? wasnt going in jumping in redmonds face, actually great publicity for Bellator if ya ask me.

I dunno man. I think there needs to be fairly strict rules on who can and can't just hop into a cage after a fight. It's already a fairly charged situation.

Dreading what Gallagher thinks he's going to have to do in the event of McKee winning now...

You just can't have fans jumping in like that no matter who they are. Imagine if they all wanted to go and do it!
