    Still no webmail on Eircom.net !!
    2 days now, and not one word from Eir on any forum!!
    Ridiculous!!!

    Just tried it now and its working, by the way you have to change your password some new security requirement

    There is a known issue with our server and it is being investigated at the moment.

    Thank goodness for Boards. I thought it was just me that was having trouble with accessing my email or that my account had been hacked and someone had changed my password.

    Can somebody from Eir please let us know on Monday what exactly is going on here please?

    Hi Layinghen,

    Thanks for getting in touch. I am really sorry about this issue affecting your email mail account. At this time, I don't have an update on when this issue will be resolved, however it is currently being looked into. Your account hasn't been hacked there is just an issue with logging in.

    Can you try to change your password and let me know if this works please?

    Hi Adam,

    I have changed my password now but have to wait 40 mins for the change to take effect. So I'll be back to you later.

    Hi Adam,

    Changing the password did the trick. I now can access my email. Just one thing I tick that I want the basic version, then I am asked if I want to update security, I say no and then I am brought into the version that is not basic.

    It's just a small thing but maybe you know what is happening. Anyway thanks for your help here I am very relieved to have my email back.

    Glad to hear this worked for you :)

    If you send an email to wmsupport@eir.ie about your other query they may be able to help you with staying on the basic version.
