Cover bands set lists

    Hey there

I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right thread so mods please feel free to move it.  I played for years in cover bands and then later as a one man band with tracks and acoustically gigging regularly around Dublin and other parts of Leinster. I moved away from Ireland eight years ago and will be moving home soon to help take care of a sick relative. I have decided to get back into gigging but I totally lost touch with what was popular in the charts and what was going down well at gigs when I left.

I have been living in non english speaking countries since so consequently I only know what was playing on the radio over here and don't know what songs are now considered fundamental to a set list in an Irish pub in 2017.  So what I am asking essentially is according to other musicians gigging out there, what songs should I be learning? I know Ed Sheeran is big now but I genuinely couldn't name one of his songs. If anyone could even post up a standard set list that they do that would be great too. Any help much appreciated. Cheers
