Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like it pretty simple, strong with a good bit of milk.

    You?

Brewed, not instant. Don't like it too strong or intense...tends to get bitter.

Not too fussy beyond that, as even cheap ground coffee is better than good instant.

A bit of milk sometimes, and/or a spoonful of brown sugar.

I throw it down the sink and make a cup of tea instead.

    A strong roast...black. One sugar.

Have a lil wardling at home so served by the bucket!!! One day I fear I'll run out of coffee and pass out asleep for a week.

Strong, dark roast, 1 and a bit brown/cane sugar, dollop of milk and it has to be in a proper mug.

    Proper. Mug.

Like my slaves; either white and sweet or black and hot.

Black. No milk or sugar, yuck.

I do use a moka pot, french press or perculator at the weekend. I do grind some beans but not often, tis a bit of work for a cuppa Jo.

I drink daily, that NEScafe Azura, it's very nice when it's fresh, but goes manky after a week from opening. All other instant coffees are revolting.

Strong, a bit of milk, no sugar. The right way basically.

Having worked in restaurants with proper coffee machines you'd get a longing for that good espresso coffee, a one with a decent crema on top (Makes you notice bad coffee when out and about too, especially dirty machines).

But when at home, and in the absence of a nespresso machine, I go for Nescafé Azzera with a healthy glug of milk. No sugar.

Strong with a good bit of milk and sometimes one sugar. Only got in to drinking coffee as opposed to tea last year so I've been taking less and less sugar recently. Still love my tea, mind.

Black, no sugar. If it's instant then add some milk.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,274 ✭✭✭Bambi985

Milky with one sugar or a shot of hazelnut. On the hour every hour. Though been off the caffeine for four days now and it's a battle to stop myself from murdering everyone. Life is so bloody intolerable without coffee.

A Flat White made with full fat Irish milk and coffee beans from Nicaragua, delicately brewed by a south American tattooed Barista from the back of a 1982 Red Transit van in a Farmers Market on the Wild Atlantic Way with Fleetwood Mac playing in the background. No Sugar.

Freshly lightly roasted and freshly ground coffee through an aeropress.

    Black.

No need to ruin a good coffee with milk and sugar. Blasphemy I say.

Depends on my mood or where I am.

Generally, I love a good strong black coffee, no sugar. I also love a Mocha Frappe on a hot day and of course, my favourite season is almost upon us....pumpkin spice latte season. After it my next favourite season of christmassy ginger lattes.

I hate milk....unless it is flavoured with chocolate, pumpkin or ginger.

It also kinda describes my taste in men. Mostly go for black but if there is a bit of spice about him, will consider a white guy.

    Black.

Beans must come from a single origin farm. Roast date must be no more than 3 weeks old and beans must be ground right before serving.

Black and strong, occasionally with a tea-spoon of honey.

Nah, I don't like coffee. it's tea for me please, splash of milk and one sugar in a big cup, every couple of hours. Thanks.

    Un caffe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,891 ✭✭✭✭mrcheez

Double espresso making sure it's actually 2 separate pours, rather than setting the machine to pour twice (which always seems more watered down)

Defo no sugar, might put a miniscule drop of milk in it, depending on my mood.

If about to cycle home from work, no milk ;)
Sets me up for the death-ride from hell that is my evening commute.
