RTÉ reports that fire safety standards have bee breached at 5 schools, including the ET Gaelscoil in Greystones. Apparently all 5 had been fast tracked. What have we learned from disastrous planning and development of recent years?
Fire safety seems to be a low priority for "developers"

What now for the pupils?
Rather untimely reporting given the school had been closed for holidays when remedial work could have been executed. Perhaps there is a good explanation,
Hopefully the Government has not been sitting on this report like the houses in Kildare, also reported today.

The inspection was carried out in early 2016. So, yes, the government have been sitting on this for 18 months minimum.
Remedial action taking place only now that it has all come out.
