USB hub for 2 ext HDDs?

Hey folks,
I was looking up usb hubs on amazon and see that some said they aren't designed for use with external HDD's/SSD's. I was hoping to have 2 of these connected to the one hub, both are powered by the same port they connect to.

I'm looking for something with traditional USB female ports and then a USB C male port to connect to my laptop as it has a USB C port and I think it's meant to be much better so might handle extra load on the hub better too? Also USB 3.1 if possible and also individual power switches for each port would be nice, all while being compact and portable

Spent a good while looking through various ones but none seem to tick all the boxes, or the most important ones!

If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it

Both of these hubs connect to to a USB-C port on your laptop and support 'power delivery' (passthrough power)....

Thanks again for the input folks. I think I came across all these ones on my search, but they all seem to suffer from reliability issues, either with the charging, wifi or ability to power and transfer more than 2 data devices at once

I'll be using the hub to run backups to a HDD through, so reliability is essential.

I've no need for the through charging, not yet anyway. I have an XPS 9560, I believe from reading on the hubs that macbooks need the through charge. I'm looking for 3 ports minimum to
