Bookcase 130cm x 130cm

    Where would I find a square bookcase roughly 130cm square? Going mad searching.

    Try Ikea.
    A quick search came up with these shelves:

    Two of those would give you approx 138 x 132 cm.

    Unfortunately the alcove is too narrow for two of them.

    No you wouldn't. It'd arrive in taken apart form.

    Drill the existing holes deeper before you cross cut.

    rip the backing board down.

    bit of work but either that of make one from scratch.
