Another transporter mal………..wait, no. Today’s incident was not attributed to Chief O’Brien in any way. Crewman BeakerJoe did not heed the warning signs that so many of us have become accustomed to aboard the ship and fell afoul of the transporter. He entered the transporter whilst smoking a cigar and then sat on the transporter pad with his legs dangling off the edge. Not surprisingly, he was duly transported and left half of his body behind. The remainder emerged on the planet as a smoke monster. A refresher training course on transporter safety will be given to all crew members and I have ordered that all signage be replaced with flashing neon lights.
