Captain’s Log - Stardate 47686.2

Two crewmen were lost today in another transporter malfunction. Crewmen Drumpot and mahamageehad were playing button chicken on the transporter console and both lost the game in spectacular fashion. They were apparently transported back in time to Earth in the Jurassic period, and sat on by a Brachiosaurus. At least that is our best guess after Mr O’Brien was able to recover the remains. I have asked the ships quartermaster to clean and redeploy the comms badges. Waste not, want not.
