I read that Ireland was finally making revenge porn illegal. I was wondering how up to date we are with other forms of online harassment?

To start with boards, we do ban anyone who doxxes here.
    Some info here

But it's not only angry spotty basement dwellers - a famous case is when CNN threatened to "out" a Reddit user who created the now famous wrestling meme with Trump.

European newspapers and also police have visited citizens that have spouted various crap on online platform.

There is talk in UK to make doxxing illegal, so it should happen in Ireland a few years after that

To collect the information might not be illegal.

To publish the information would likely have privacy, data protection, harassment, incitement to hatred, conspiracy to commit a violent offence and other issues.

Plus, of course, the manner in which you obtain the information in the first place may or may not be illegal.

Also should you ‘out’ the wrong person or link them to some damaging information that turns out to be of dubious quality, misrepresenting them or false, you could be finding yourself on the end of a VERY expensive Irish law suit.
