Scratch on BOTW Wii u disc query

Hi, unfortunately my beloved BOTW 😞 wii u disc has a scratch on it , tried the toothpaste trick no joy, my questions are:

Where can I get it resurfaced and is it guaranteed to work and how much?
If I get a new copy is my progress saved on the wii u itself?
Also do I need to buy the DLC again with new disc?

    Any advice appreciated? Thanks

All your progress is saved on your console and im pretty sure you wont have to buy the dlc again as its not connected to the disc. As for the disc itself i think some electronic goods stores offer cleaning and scratch repairs not sure how a wii u disc would fare tho. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks for the reply so happy to hear that at least have all my hours saved on the console itself (trial of the sword in master mode especially!!), I'll try GameStop or Smyths to see if they can fix it first, fingers crossed

Smyths I think will resurface a disc, CEX as well.
