Hi, looking to buy a TV now, 49 or 50 inch.

The thing is we only watch Saorview and Free-Sat so I'm not sure if I need a 4k as would it carry a good picture quality anyway considering I dont have access to HD channels as such? (I'm a novice).
Something that doesn't give motion problems when watching sports on Saorview.
Also I'd love to be able to wirelessly connect laptop to stream shows so does that mean I need it to be a smart TV too?

Any recommendations would be fantastic coz I'm clueless about these things.

Budget is max of 700 euro

    Thanks in advance  :)

    Hi One_Of_Shanks,

If you are looking for a good TV without 4K and smart I would recommend the Sony KDL49WE663 at 699 euro:

This is a great 1080p panel with smart hub and DLNA compliant for streaming across your network. You could use a 4K panel with smart features either through youtube or a 4k netflix subscription. The HDR panel will also give a better colour ratio on normal TV. If you are interested in 4K I would recommend the Panasonic TX49EX600 as a good starting point at 749 euro:

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
