Does Aimee Le Boom at Heineken clear up the Le Boom appearance? And with Ejeca also there does that mean the end of hope for a minor main announcement?

Weird that they haven't been announced with everyone else. Hopefully Le Galaxie will pop up in the arena at some stage too so.

For anyone struggling to fill their Friday evening, make sure ye go see Kneecap!
Two young rappers from Belfast who rap in irish..
We stumbled across them at Body and Soul this year and were blown away!!
They're in the Hazel wood on Friday at 11 and An Pubail Gaeilge in Mindfield on Saturday at 9:15.

    (probably akin them to Versatile)

Bit of help with the dj's please.....

my interest in repetitive beats has seriously waned over the years
to the point that now id be quite happy to go to none of them at all
(apart from Mother closing it out at B&S, thats a must do)

im not anti-electronic but 4 to the floor house music is not for me, especially minimal
(e.g. i saw richie hawtin at FF a few years ago and it was torture!)
i like daft punk, chemicals, groove armada, and all that poppy stuff,
id also like the stuff thats a bit more varied in style with indie influence
Bicep, Mount Kimbie, etc, i like hip hop orientated stuff too
and if its got to be house i like it funky

so get to the point! says you....
my mate will turn up on saturday for the day and will be mad to see Djs
i dont want to be a buzzkill for him, what do you suggest that might
be tolerable for me while keeping him happy!

    mucho gracias!

If it is the Saturday that he is coming down I would recommend Lumo Club DJs (Nialler 9, Adultrock & Simon Roche) at the Heineken area, similar to Mother DJs really and have a monthly club night in Dublin, here is a playlist they have on spotify with loads of songs.

DJ Deece is playing Casa Bacardi too on the Saturday who is usually very good. Boiler Room at AVA.

No not yet, probably won't be until Monday next week. Some self announced and estimates can be seen on the clashfinder.

Thanks for that recommendation. Adds to the variety and I'll check that out. EP has had similar stuff in the past two years - Karl Blau, Julia Jacklin and Paul Kelly, all great.

Mother Djs are also on sat night in Jerry Fish.
saw Sing Along Social at ATN similar to Mother Djs.
I saw a DJ Katie Brennan on the Sunday night at the bandstand at ATN that was also a big mix of throw back and charty stuff also. I think she is playing B&S but not sure when.
Not a Dj but Attenion Bebe are on Saturday and is all 90s covers similar to Smash Hits but with a brass band.

Best route to Green Car Park on Friday? Leaving Dublin at 2pm...

    Come up through Vicarstown/Inch Cross?

That's the way I went last year and got into the green car park, I probably got down there around 10 or 11 though.

For the first time I’m trying to get to the red car park.... looking at first page I might be directed there anyway but leaving Dublin at 7.30am Friday

Felix Da Housecat has a lot of moments in his back catalogue analogous to Daft, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx etc (I'm thinking Kittenz and thee Glitz, Virgo Blaktro albums in particular). Whether or not he plays this kind of stuff in his DJ sets I don't really know but he doesn't strike me as the minimalist/endless loops kind of guy.

Yeah we were early last year and got into Green no problem, not able to leave until the afternoon this year though.

With 537 pages on this thread I just can't bring myself to trawl through to get an insight into my query which has no doubt already been explored.

Nivea showers in Hendrix. What are they like? When are they busiest? Third year camping in Wilde at Electric Picnic but first year where showering will definitely be happening. Went to Rock Werchter this year and being fresh after a shower every day was the best luxury and hangover cure anyone could ask for. Cheers all
