Can't help but think Noel Gallagher will headline given his stint 2 years ago, along with the U2 tour slot and the album out.

Can also see the possibility of Kasabian a year on from headlining Glastonbury.

Saw the Killers back in November at the Point. Would live them to play the picnic

Retro act wise, Kylies back on the scene!

This is the first year that I'm potentially going to sell my ticket if the lineup isn't up to scratch. If PODs new festival has a better one, I'll head there

Seeing as the new POD one is about 25 minutes drive from me, I think I might do both :)

i've been saying this for the past few years but there's always enough on the lineup to tempt me. if there wasn't, I'd drop EP like a hot snot, regardless of what POD are up to. our festival crew gets smaller each year for EP, most have long gotten bored of the way it has gone as a festival.

    Interesting news.

Mumford & Sons are an exculsive european festival performer for Sziget. Never seen them but know it'd upset many here if they were to headline EP.

only European festival performance this summer, 2 days of EP are in Autumn, so we're not out of the woods yet ;) :pac:

At the risk of reigniting last year's R-word rumours , Thom Yorke is playing this year's Sonar Festival.

It would be great to see him added to EP's lineup this year.

I remember the last time Mumford played EP in 2010, I could hear them from the Hendrix campsite and it still sounded horrendous.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

I'd take Little Dragon & La Femme too.

I think La Femme played Body & Soul Festival last year, caught a bit of their set, they were most excellent from what I can remember.

Yeah, they were one of the highlights of the festival for me.

Nice to see Shame on that list.

    Wouldn't mind seeing them.

Songs of Praise is definitely worth a listen.
This is a superb album; one of the best in last few months. Raw anger!
What about a double act - Shame with Touts!!

Just had a listen to this. Really like it. They'd be a great addition.

Was not aware of this album ... this has just made my work day so much brighter darker.

    Thanks for the excellent suggestion.

We can merge crews. We are still grimly holding on too. You'll know a few from the old Oxegen MB.

There's a few acts at rewind festival that would go down very well like The Jackson's,Ub40,Heaven 17,Marc Almond,Jimmy Somerville and soul ll soul.

Friendly Fires are coming back from hiatus this year, and headlining a festival the week before EP, would love to see them again, always good fun live

would also like to see most of this lineup tbh

I could them turning up at the Punchestown Festival thing. Watched The Jacksons from Glastonbury and just felt it was a bit too cringey imo

Well .. we won't be getting The Fall.

First saw The Fall back in the 80s in the Astoria in London. It was the most fabulous chaos.

I remember bringing someone along to The Fall at EP, must be 12 years ago or so. She gave me a look as if to say "you are ****ed up man".

Some of my favourite albums are by The Fall. This Nation's Saving Grace being an absolute classic.

    RIP Mark E. Smith

I'd say John Grant is a very strong possibility
