Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A number of properties were searched with one of the biggest operations focused on a halting site and at St Anthony's Park in Hollyhill.

More than 50 Gardaí, supported by the armed Regional Support Unit (RSU), conducted a series of major raids across Cork's northside as part of a crackdown on general criminality.

You should see someone getting defensive on RedFM's Facebook - "You're just ignorant and ye wonder why they are the way they are", total abdication of responsibility.

Pavee Point come out with a statement yet?

I'm only around the corner from all of this.

I didn't even know it was ongoing until a friend from Waterford rang me.

Did they find any green diesel in the cars? Or were they seized for other tax reasons?

Pavee point are very quiet on the issue.

I wish the Irish media would stop harassing this ethnic minority. Seems as if they're only interested in printing negative stories about them, murders, robberies, stabbing, drug dealing, cruelty to animals etc. Actually it's not just the Irish media, it's happening in the UK, Australia, US, and Mainland Europe too.

Enough with the hate crimes against this wonderful ethnic minority.

I hope the Gardaí do not interfere with their human rights. Because that would be the worst possible outcome.

All they want to do is be left alone so they can tarmac driveways. IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK????!!!

    Like Garlic to a Vampire.

When there was an ethnic enrichment of the sisters neighborhood the first thing the new arrivals did was put in false complaints about every large dog that resided in the area.

The British Police seem to be far more effective dealing with criminal Travellers than the Irish Police .

They are also far more effective dealing with gangsters such as the Kinahans and the Hutches .

The Gardai Need To Learn from This Far More effective Police force..........

Firing shotguns in a group of people, I'd say a fair few of them will be deaf soon enough.

The Gardaí could well crack down on Traveller crime/fraud rates but that'd mean accountability, efficiency and paperwork which they'll happily avoid.
