I have just noticed a hole in the carbon fibre on the underneath of the bottom bracket of my Cube Attain SL Disc brake.... hadn't noticed it before now?

May have gotten a belt of a stone I can't remember.

Is it definitely a manufacturing flaw?

i would have hoped for a neater looking hole if it was there for drainage?

I was thinking drainage too. But in fairness it's not exactly circular and the gear cables are right beside it. Surely the holes for the gears would be enough for drainage.

It probably was neater prior to paint.
