    Guys,

I want to put a PAYG sim into my house alarm.
It texts when alarm is activated.
I can also text to disarm or arm the system.

I'm wondering if I get a PAYG sim and put €5 credit into it, how long does it remain active?
Do I have to text it a couple of times?
Does it have to text me?

What are the terms with regards to infrequent use?

My main phones are bill pay with eir so I'm not sure of the PAYG situation.

    Hi kceire,

Thanks for getting in touch with us today.

You would need to top this up every 150 days with €5 for the service to remain. This would cover you for all texts to the alarm.

    Thanks

    Thanks Adam.
Shop told me 6 months so I'll play it safe and make sure to top up within the 150 days.

    No problem.

We would advise the 150 days to maintain the service.

    Thanks
