Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shocking stuff. Could be a lengthy ban

Standard 3 match ban. Mané's eyes were on the ball throughout. Just looked so bad because both players fully committed to getting to the ball first

Last goalkeeper to pick up a serious head injury during game was Cech, next thing they'll start wearing protective headgear.

    Jesus offside goal.

Stoppage was 9.5 minutes. 8 minutes added time. Go figure

Bravo on now so Liverpool just need a shot on target to equalise.

Although there's a good chance that Salah could help build up some confidence in Bravo.

I think he'll only miss 2 league games, league cup game coming up in a week or 2.

Can you call it patience ?

I waited as long as I could. I didn't want to sell him but I could not take a second drop. He was over 100% to drop.

Keeper had his head ducked, was outside of the box so it's the same as tackling against any other player. Yellow for sure, but extremely harsh red.

Ederson's head was ducked as he had got to the ball first by headering it. Mane was late, and his foot was extremely high.

It's inches and fine margins, and there's no doubt in my mind that all Mane was focused on was trying to get to the ball first, but unfortunately it was a red card.

    Very unlucky mind.

Head was ducked. But he also jumped so still head height really.
Replay shows Edersons feet about 6-8 inches off the ground.

Having your boot that high, studs showing going at that pace when you know another player is coming from the opposite direction is extremely dangerous/stupid. How anyone can say its unlucky or a bad call is beyond me

You have to be mindful of other players on pitch.
There's no excuse saying eyes on ball, it's up to you to not put other players in danger because of your actions.

Had discussed this during the week
I was willing to take the second drop as I felt there was points in this game and didn't want mane away to city
    Points over price

Doesn't always work out but I was extremely patient which I usually am not !

Very much a substitution and change in tactics that says he's shutting up shop, getting out of there without any more damage and moving on to next week.

so changed captain on the app which I rarely use - and looks like it didn't go through :( - wanted it on Morata, instead it's on Kane.

    Jesus (kun)

That goal must have been painful to watch for Aguero owners :p

How in the name of Christ are City 3-0 up?

Liverpool absolutely battered them for the first 35 minutes, missing decent chance after chance.

    Crazy game.

There's a danger of reading too much into it, such is how much the sending off changed the game.

I knew transferring out Kun before playing liverpool might be risky :(

The app is useless. It's been known for having loads of bugs. Just use the mobile site in future.

This is why a mass sale of Liverpool players namely Salah & Firmino should be avoided. They will bounce back.

Jesus likely to fall out of bonus by the game's end then?

Yeah, I agree. The big players in this game generally tend to.

De Bruyne is a case in point, though given how poor he had been from an FPL viewpoint for 3 weeks along with his price drop, it was perfectly understandable moving him on.

    Unlikely

    Jesus 48
    Kun 42
    Kdb 33

As it stands with mig next best at 14

Well I thought I was being patient. I was bringing in Pogba for him this week but Pogba went up and KDB was about to drop again. I couldn't afford that 0.3 swing. It may have been more.

Tadic on the bench for Southampton.
