Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I am looking for an open water swimming club in the Dublin area - preferably one which has meets at weekends. I am at intermediate level and looking for a club with a social aspect also if possible.

    Does anybody have any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

Check out the Irish long distance swimming club and Leinster Sea swimming on Facebook. Both seem quite active not alot going on in this forum I'm afraid.

Im in the same boat, was told about eastern bay swim club. They meet every sunday at highrock at 12 oclock. Ive been over on 2 sundays and both were quiet but was told by some1 that was because they were swimming at a race and that it would be quiet until after the liffey swim. I aim to be there again on sunday

Glenalbyn Sc meet every Saturday/Sunday at 40ft at 12pm, plus a few other clubs meet up with them. Great bunch and all welcome anyone. They normally do the 3 buoys and back maybe up till end of October then maybe as colder seas come in they judge it on temp on day.
