Wife on stamp 3 getting stipend for internship

My moved over here a month ago, on a critical skills employment permit, as a software developer. My wife also moved with me.
She has worked in digital marketing previously, and she was having some difficulty getting a job here as she doesn't have any experience in Ireland market, combined with the fact that many companies aren't ready for a spouse employment permit to come through.

Since we are surviving with one salary for now, she decided to volunteer/intern in a company to get some relevant experience.

She has got a chance to intern in a nice company in digital marketing. Now, this place is a good train ride away, and the company has offered her a stipend of 100 euros per week as travel allowance.

Strictly speaking, is it legal for her to accept this money? They haven't asked for her PPS or anything, so is it safe to just give a revolut bank account for this transfer? I guess, as a last resort, she can ask them to just buy a monthly train ticket for her.

Has anyone here been in a similar position? Are we going to get into trouble if she accepts this stipend in a revolut bank account?
