Hi, I wish to close my current account and move bank, however, I have a BOI graduate loan being paid by standing order from my current account which I wish to move to my new bank. I have been told this isn't possible and as it is a BOI loan I have to use a BOI account to pay it or I will be changing the terms of my loan. I've studied my loan agreement and it states nowhere that I must use a BOI account to pay the loan.

Is this true? What is my next course of action?

    Hi Leem8,

Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.

This would vary from case to case depending on the terms of the loan.

I would advise that you speak to an lending advisor on 0818 200 334 and they will be happy to help you.

Please let me if you need any further help.

    Have a good day.

    Thanks,

    Kareana
