Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Driving test - pedestrian (zebra) crossing question

    Hi Guys,

I am sitting the test on Friday but one question came into mind the other day.

I was approaching a zebra crossing. Obviously I slowed down and the two pedestrians started crossing it. They were almost at the end and I drove through it.

My question is, for the test, should I wait for them to completely cross the zebra crossing before moving off? As in, be OFF the crossing on the proceeding footpath.. Or is it ok to proceed when they are 3/4 the way across?

    Thanks!

I only thought to check the Rules of The Road after creating the Thread. But thank you for the reply. The Rules do not say that the vehicle must wait until the zebra crossing is completely cleared.

Is it more of a test specific requirement, to be extra vigilant? I am asking because the crossing in question is rather long, so am I not holding up traffic waiting at a zebra crossing, where two people are almost clear of it?

They could stumble, or turn around. Waiting 5 seconds isn't going to hold up traffic.

True, better safe than sorry on test day. Thanks :)
