GPS app that has voice while plugged in with USB?

I'm off to France later this week and was hoping to use my iphone as a GPS for driving directions. I've been trying some of them out and have noticed that neither waze or navmii give voice directions when the phone is plugged in via the USB. I'm off to France later this week and was hoping to use my iphone as a GPS for driving directions. I've been trying some of them out and have noticed that neither waze or navmii give voice directions when the phone is plugged in via the USB. As I'll need to be charging the phone, i will need to plug it in (I am assuming the car I am hiring has a USB port. I don't have a charger that you can use with the cigarette port). Does anyone know of a GPS app that will work while the phone is plugged into the USB?
