Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Colts summed up perfectly in one penalty... coming back from a timeout no less: "12 players in the huddle on defense. Also the twelfth player was offside."

Dawson iced and it's going to OT though. Shame, would've been typical for the Colts to lose a game despite being behind in it for 0 seconds.

Tony Romo's commentary is the best thing about NFL right now. Great to listen too.

Yikes that pass from Brissett was never on.

Cards win in OT. But Palmer is washed up. Both teams are not going anywhere this year.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Vital win for the Cards, but i really wouldn't be too enthused about their prospects going forward.

Cards look like a 6 win team.

Yeah, between Palmer looking like Peyton Manning in his last season and Johnson out for the year it will be interesting to see what the odds for them are in Dallas next week. Probably fecking huge though, esp if Dallas get the win tonight!

I watched the whole game (in rotation with three others). Hard as it is to believe, they were quite notably worse in the first half!

    Broken foot for Greg Olsen.

Not as comfortable as the scoreline suggests for Pittsburgh, might have been different if Bradford started.

    Chicago next week.

Dallas at Denver could be a great game

Yup, far better second half, long way to go. Offense isnt consistent

Yeah he is playing like an unsettled rookie, no pocket presence. They looked rutherless against a bottom 10 Indy defense with a backfield made up of rookies and second years.

Very nice opening drive from Denver for a TD.

Oh my ****ing God, Yanda is gone for the season.

The amount of injuries the Ravens have had over the last few seasons is beyond belief. It's simply just beyond comprehension at this stage.

It's a solid year too late to say Derek Carr is legit, but... Derek Carr is legit.

I thought himself and the Raiders would regress a little, rather than kick on. I'm an idiot.

Beauty of a pass from McCown to Kearse for the TD.

I don't even think that one quite stacks up to this. If he were screaming the song the whole way through, then maybe...

Looking at the stats, they must really be keeping a short leash on Cutler in Miami. Completion % looks good, but only 75 yards off 16 attempts? Very un-Cutler-like.

Some better late games, really enjoying the Rams and Redskins especially - Skins are one of the most underrated teams in terms of entertainment in the whole league for a few years now.

Cowboys/Broncos due back on imminently, five minutes or less apparently.

Fair play to him. He's been so good for so long, incredible to see him up there with all the great wide receivers, and not done yet. (side note: Owens, 3rd with 153 receiving TDs....should be in the hall really)

Devante Parker bailing out Cutler big time

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Jesus, Denver making a mess of an outstanding defensive effort in the first quarter,

Dallas first 3 possesions, 4 plays punt, 3 plays punt, 6 plays punt, but a missed FG and a fumble deep in their own territory for Denver and it's a tied game.

I thought he was legit a few years ago and I have the boards posts to prove it. ☺☺
I also thought rg3 would be good in Cleveland last year though!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Wow, that was a nice touchdown from Gurley, nice to see him find a bit of the form that saw him excite as a rookie.

These late games are all exciting. I need the Rams to come good to land an accumulator.

Anyone watching the Seahawks game for the duration? Without watching in too much detail, it seems like Wilson and/or his line have gotten worse when they were fancied to improve. Am wary of overreacting to a week or two though.

Seahawks offense is appalling tonight. If something radical doesn't happen soon we'll be irrelevant this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

That sounds grim, I'd have thought they'd come on this season. The NFC might be wide open this season

Given it was clearly the no. 1 issue I thought they'd come on too but Lacy hasn't worked out yet, they can't seem to use Graham and the O line seems to need a complete re-work rather than the slow careful re-jigging they've been going for. Or the problem is further up the command structure.

Against the 9ers in their current state the Seahawks should be comfortable, but the offense is really struggling

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,256 ✭✭✭Molly

Dolphins Kicker has never missed a kick from over 50 yards. 6/6, pretty impressive

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

PI, pretty much the Seahawks best offensive playcall. Same as my Giants :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

That poor kicker Koo from the Chargers, he's probably going to get cut and he's a hero in South Korea

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

Seahawks Td. All Wilson. The O line's contribution was to confuse the 49ers so much they couldn't find him

    Was incredible from Wilson tbh

Chris Carson staking a big claim to be starting RB in Seattle. Against a tiring defense though

Very unimpressive, will take the w and 1-1 but big work needed before the Titans next Sun

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Win or lose, the Rams have impressed me on the whole. That said Goff does look a little prone to keep on his first option, which top defenses like Seattle will exploit a lot.

Anyone looking for a value bet next week, if Cowboys are any less than -7 against Cardinals - dive on it! Cardinals barely won against a woeful Colts team while somehow leading for zero seconds of the game today and Broncos are doing what they do best right now, grinding down Dallas' offense and making them look a lot worse than they are. Could lead to a really, really good line... but if it does come out, expect heavy early bets and it to shift fast.

It's funny how good your defense is that you guys take it for granted. :p

Offensively very underwhelming, but your defense really is pretty excellent - last week too.
