Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We are great to watch - but Klopp genuinely hasn't a notion about defense.

Like Rugby - you could say Pool need a coach for defense side alone
    I feel your pain!

Karius has to be the worst keeper I've seen play for Liverpool.
I may be drunk but I still reckon I could offer more than he does.

Liverpool have won only 1 of the 8 Cl games they've played against Spanish opposition in the CL at Anfield.

Would that be when they beat Real 4-0?

Anyhow, it has zero influence on tonight's game.

Hasn't really done much wrong tonight. Can't be blamed for the goals.

I don't really see what he's done wrong tonight in all fairness.

Maybe he knows more about defence though as I don't think he does American football.

So tonight Klopp is at fault for Lovern falling over and missing a ball?

he plays him and won't sign defenders quick enough.

Klopp's idea is we score 4/5 - see what happens - it works sometimes.

Cool heads and calm play can still win this.

    That was my point earlier.

There is not control to the game at all.

It's also what I remember of Klopp's Dortmund! A mad yellow and black attack of demented bees

Klopp is at fault for picking him. For.not signing a better replacement .for not providing better players around him. For not setting the team.uo to protect the back 4 better.

It's the likes of klopp and Wenger who make me appreciate the likes of mourinho and Benitez. Managers who really understand how.to defend. How to set up a team to defend.

Klopp just seems to pick 4 defenders and hope for the best

2nd half just has not been as composed with the final ball as the 1st half

Does he take it serious - our issues at all.

I'm genuinely very worried he has a rather twisted philosophy on the game.

Maybe - just maybe , he can't do it at the back. Ho long do we have to put up with this -

How many goals have we conceded this season - it is chronic stuff.

Doesnt make much sense to bring on Ox so late into the game.

They would shut up shop & have the feet up now. Klopp wasting time now making subs this late.

Plus their teams can of course attack.

Think mourinho Real team scored the most ever goals in a season?

Organising a defence is much more difficult and rare than having a crazy open attacking team

A team of demented bees as another poster put it

Organising a defense is surely easier. Or is Pulis a better manager than Klopp?

    Tell you what you done.

You drew 2-2 , in a game we should have won Mr Klopp

    Panic Football.

Liverpool are going nowhere under Klopp. He has no idea how to set up the defence. They are way too open.
    Bring back Benitez.

If it's easy then That doesn't say a lot for Klopp. The likes of Jose and Benitez can get the balance right something I don't think Klopp can do.

It's a balancing act, but the most obvious part is at least staffing your defense with decent players so you have the best chance of your unbalanced team keeping the score down.

But instead consistently we field defensive lineups that you'd be worried about even if we played with a DM. All of the defenders we played today could be improved upon in the transfer market without breaking the bank.
