Just a heads up.. The N11 Northbound through Glen of the Downs is being re surfaced and there are some serious drop offs on the road surface as well as the hard shoulder being closed off with many cones. There are also piles of tarmac chipping in the hard shoulder with little way of warning or signage. Beware if cycling…

There are also piles of tarmac chipping in the hard shoulder with little way of warning or signage.

Beware if cycling that way over the next while particularly on the weekend.

You may be best to divert through Delgany Kilcoole exit and through Blacklion and over Windgates to Bray
