Would disagree. Came back from a 100 point deficit in January last year to win a league. It's possible in a league of casuals and certainly possible to claw back after 5GWs.

I'd agree with this. I've overcome a 130 point deficit in January and lost a 100 point lead at Christmas in prior years.

Positives:

- Clean sheets for all of my defenders and my goalkeeper

- Salah, Mkhitryan and Brady all contributing

Negatives:

- All of my strikers blanking including captain Kane. Chicharito is a huge concern as the cheap 3rd striker as he is playing out wide if Carroll starts, but there's virtually nothing worthwhile in that price bracket.

- Sanchez yet again not starting. I built my wildcard team around him but by downgrading to almost any other player in the game could get Jesus or Aguero in up front. Yet, after saying all that, I'm probably going to captain him again next week. :pac:

- Getting killed by Lukaku's ownership figures as I knew could happen

65 pts. 4th red arrow in a row (down to 341k) but happy enough. Started at 30k so red arrows aren't a bg surprise.

My United trio saved me today. Bailly-Mkhitaryan-Lukaku(C) contributed to 38 pts of my 65. Yoshida on the bench stinks but I got it wrong with my defense overall so far. Went with the B'mouth-Palace-Burnley rotation and it did not work, particularly Daniels & Dann who contributed to nothing and lost me £0.2m.

WC on its way to rearrange that.

Probably, but also a lot of teams with no Kane and Lukaku captain was a good option after Everton vs Atalanta game in Europa League midweek.

73 points, I was doomed before United game and thought it was all over when I checked the result after 70 minutes. 39 points came in from that game out of nowhere. This won't happen every week.

Salah and Mikhitaryan in for Mane and Pogba was a straight swap and worked.

Lukaku captainers absolutely killing me. More than I thought they might.

Despite having Alonso and Mkhi yesterday, I got steamrolled by a few people with Valencia and Lukaku. Most of those with Lukaku had him captained. And none of them had Kane.
