Samsung TV Problem - Repair?

    Hi,

    I've a 3 or 4 year old Samsung TV (UE40Es5500K) that was working fine until a couple of days ago the picture changed to rotating solid colours - Red, Green, Grey, Black etc. Powering it off and on again made no difference, and audio was still coming through. I plugged it out and tried it again the next day and it was working fine.

    The next day however, it happened again and it is still in that state - like a diagnostic test.. I left it overnight and no joy with it today.

    Anyone come across something like this before or would recommend a repair?

    Would anyone have a TV repair shop on the East side of the country they would recommend - Dundalk, Drogheda, North Dublin?

    I also have a problem with a Samsung LCD screen. I have no picture but I do have sound. I was coming on here to see if there was anyone with technical know-how, but seeing as no one has replied to your thread.. Im not too confident.

    There tons of material online, you could spend hours trawling through info, and not be anywhere close to solving the problem.

    *btw, anyone any ideas?*

    have a ue40eh5300 4/4 years old black screen
    have sound and shing flashlight test shows text
    is it worth getting a T-con card for it ?
