    Hello All,

    Hope this is the right place to post this. Our boiler went on Saturday night 30 odd years old in fairness.

    Could anyone tell me exactly how much a new boiler & installation is?

    Also, if we were to get the grant for a new boiler/updated controls....how much would we be looking at?

    Im hearing 2-2.5k for new gas boiler and controls fitted. (get a few quotes off a few RGIs though)
    You're entitled to 700 euro grant for replacing boiler and controls

    Is it not €700 for the boiler & another €600 towards the controls?

    Is it better to go with gas rather than oil? Our boiler at the monent is oil.

    Nope - its 600 for controls only.
    700 for boiler+controls.

    Thats oil or gas.

    If your with Energia you could go with House2Home, they do all the paperwork for grants and give another 800 off for being an Energia customer. Got mine done last week. Delighted with it
