One of my athletes is down for Poznan on 15th. Cheap enough to get to as well

Not sure is Amsterdam still open for entries either

Monaghan marathon the weekend after this. €35 entry fee. I've not done it before so can't comment much, but they're a good bunch up there and I'm expecting a well organised event.

    I'm heading over also. 7000 + entrants
Flights still dirt cheap at <€60. Race entry fee €23.
    Accommodation very reasonable and good.
    Poznan gets good reviews also

There are no big marathons in Ireland at this time of year, because everyone who wants to do an autumn marathon in Ireland does Dublin.
The east of Ireland marathons are small and (afaik) largely self-supported. If you want a big marathon you have to go abroad.

Have a look at Clonakilty in December. http://runclon.ie/

AAI certified and seems to get good numbers. Im looking to do a full before end of year also.

Thanks doesn't have to be a big one, just feel I have one in my system before the end of the year. I'll probably do one of the east of Ireland one's

Lovely race. If you don't mind big hills in your marathons! :D

Will be my first marathon in Poland, any suggestions for cheap accommodation in Poznan.

There's a langer-load of Autumn marathons in Europe.

Metz is on in a few weeks... cheap, maybe not so easy to get to.

    Germany, look 'em up.

    Spain, ditto.
