Whats wrong with the TV ?.

As you know with LCD TV 90% of the time there is no point in repairing them as it's cheaper to buy a new one ?.

How old is it anyway ?.

It's a seven year old 55" Samsung. We think it's the capacitors that are gone.
It'd cost the bones of €1k to replace it like-for-like......Don't have that kind of money anymore. I want to at least try to get it fixed.

Try 'King tv' in Callan. Be prepared. It's not Harvey Norman or Compustore but one to one old school service. He'll actually know what a capacitor is.
