    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay here.

The incoming mail server is webmail.eircom.net and the outgoing server is mail1.eircom.net.

    Hi Adam

I have purchased a new Samsung A5 (2017) and cannot get access to my eircom.net email address.  When I input the information you stated above into the phone I get the error message stating 'Can't set up account - 'Server does not support authentication' I have tried various inputs and nothing seems to accept.  I am unable to get access to help on the eir web helpdesk as I don't have an eir account.  Can you please advise or should I just abandon this email address completely?  thanks

    Hi sundodger5,

That would be correct, has this worked for you?

    Thanks

The "server does not support authentication" error made me think this may be the issue.
