Anyone have any opinions of the pumps in lidl ATM? My current one has both feet broken so a bit of a chore to inflate tires

Is it worth a punt or better spending an extra 20 quid?

Spend the extra. Anyone I've had or used has been reasonably poor quality whereas the beto pump I have has been going solid for 5+ years

Poor enough selection in Aldi this time out, they did have some pulley hangers and display stands.

Just picked up a couple of the base layers. I have to wash them but out of the box they didn't feel as nice on as the last ones I got from there, slightly heavier material

Don't see anything on the Aldi website. When did these come in?

Today, for some reason they aren't shown on the special buys section, you have to look at the digital booklet they have on there now.

Nothing in nearby stores....not sure if COVID is hitting them supply chains

    Thanks, very helpful.

Not so helpful of Aldi though to put their own PDF viewer app in there with its own fancy page turning and zooming process, because that whoosh page turning is just so cool and well worth learning another interface on top of my own PDF viewer.

3 bike stands in Bray this afternoon. Not much else, as I took the last 4 tins of Mucoff no2

Tested out the baselayer today, I'm sure I'll use it again maybe as a rag to clean the bike or something. The old ones I found to be decent for the price but these are hot garbage. It felt disgusting on me once I'd worked up a sweat :D

Was in Aldi in Greystones last Thursday morning, and didn't even notice bike stuff. Normally only pick up the lube and degreaser, although I got the frame bag last time and it's grand.

I wonder when will they start offering the bikepacking stuff they do in England?

Not a whole lot in Tramore yesterday. Base layers, socks, gloves, mini pumps and an assortment of lubes - not a bike stand in sight, though I have one from Lidl from ages ago which still serves. Picked up a couple of pairs of gloves which are grand, and a couple of assorted types of spray lube

it was definitely there in Greystones on Saturday, stands, hoists, clothes, the lot. For once I didn't buy anything though.

They had both normal cycling shorts, and loose fit, bike packing or touring shorts in Kildare

Could've missed them playing physical distancing roulette, and wasn't looking for them as I use the app for the specials.

Stock up of usual GT85 spray.

Loads of bike stuff in the one in nutgrove yesterday.
I got the pump but passed on the clothes as it looked poxy. I'd rather put a bin liner on me.

Probably no use to you but I popped into Lidl Castlerea for another pump last night, lots in stock, and there were also a fair few bike stands available.

Perhaps if ye give them a ring they might be able to sort ye out.
Failing that, I'll have another look on Monday if I'm down that way and you can revolut me the cash and p&p and I'll send it down to you.

That would be very decent of you

Couldn't get to Castlerea but did try Carrick and unfortunately 'no joy'. Sorry.

I bought the Lidl floor pump a few weeks ago, it works fine for Presta and Schrader, the gauge is inaccurate but consistent, my digital gauge which is close to a filling station air pump reading, reads 35 psi when the track pump says 40 psi. I don't know about higher pressures.

Anyone in the know have any opinion on this bike? I'm living in a tiny apartment and have no space for a conventional bike and can't really afford a brompton. I'd be using it sparingly enough, not for commuting.
