I think the nudity came after the leak when the horse had bolted so to speak. What's the HW connection?

Firstly, apologies to everyone who came here for pictures of beautiful women, this post is totally off topic. It's discussing Weinstein, and so ignore it as you will.

Yeah, it was after the leak-in two really bad movies as well, so nobody cared. But there's also a theory about the 'leak' that holds more credence than I'd like to admit.

Well, the Harvey Weinstein connection is that she was in Silver Linings Playbook, one of the last major movies Weinstein produced.
It earned her an Oscar (bizarrely, because the movie is just another 'love cures depression' bullcrap) and she thanked Weinstein in her speech(the rumours of Weinstein were well known by then. His company produced the movie, also). But there was also a notable 'push' to make Lawrence the next big thing, like marketed as such. And that was a Harvey trick-he did the same with Gretchen Mol, with Gwyneth Paltrow, with Sienna Miller, with Blake Lively etc (often they would appear on a ton of magazines, suddenly out of nowhere, then disappear just as quick when their movie careers didn't happen).

Well, as soon as the Weinstein thing is discovered, suddenly the spotlight is turned on 'Harvey's Girls' as in the the women who's careers he helped make (or careers he helped destroy)-and Lawrence was, essentially, the last successful one. Then the rumours began, with even Lindsay Lohan saying Lawrence slept with Harvey to get her career. (Or claims regarding why Brad Pitt dumped Paltrow-allegations he walked in on her with Harvey).

The leaked photos some allege were a powermove by Weinstein to show how much influence he had over his actresses. Add to that how quiet Lawrence has been when discussing Weinstein, and lets just say the allegations have stuck.

Since then, the movies Lawrence has made have been unsuccessful, or bombed outright (even getting a Razzie nomination for 'Mother!'). Paltrow's moved away from acting, but tbh, nobody was paying to see her in movies-so now she's claiming she's an 'entrepreneur', with a company that sells bogus crap.

That scene in the dancing competition - my god what a body, definitely one of the sexiest women I've ever seen! And, yea, I'd say she's good craic too, certainly comes across well on chat shows and so on.

That being said, Joy was a terrible film despite an amazing cast and Mother is up there with the worst movies of all time in my book - a steaming pile of shíte without any argument!
