Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We're going to blow this yet, that goal should've stood.

Getting sloppy again. This side don't really know what to do with the ball when not attacking.

Very borderline, and the linesman in the wrong position. Hard to tell exactly from the replay.

    Was Maguire not off?
He looked it to me from the one replay I saw.

Looking like his hand was offside at best, should be given.

Looking at Leicester's line from that set piece, whoever headed that to Okazaki was probably offside so I'd say it's the right decision in the end, even if it was accidental.

Maguire was well off, that's why he flagged

Argument to be made that was onside

    Benefit should've gone to Kowasaki.

That's what I assumed it was for. Beglin keeps talking about the other lad.

Leicester the better team since second goal, looks like Pool sitting back a bit too deep..

Just as I'm typing Liverpool with a great chance

Was Maguire not a mile offside?

Maguire was off, which I think is what the linesman called, as the flag was up before Okazaki played the ball.

Here was me gonna say Firmino was quiet....

Probably, but linesman in the wrong position was mostly guessing, which is dodgy.

Marginal offside decisions aren't worth long arguments over anyhow, either way.

Bout 4/5 Leicester players were offside, the ball was aimed over at them all.

That's classic Lovren attacking there. :D

Oooft, nice cross from Lovren, can't blame Salah for not expecting that.

Beglin finally got told Maguire was off. It's crazy how him, his co commentator and lots of others couldn't see it

Jaysus how was the ref fooled by that :pac:

    Salah dives, Vardy's clever.

Vardy the diving git. The goal all came from that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Every goal Liverpool concede is hilarious. Its always someone making a mistake.

    Maybe he got pulled

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,592 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

    Well done Migs ffs

Think it was a free out in fairness.. Okazaki was holding his arm back as he was going to go for it

Yes, just when I thought it was over
    They pull me back in

    Liverpool defence again is brutal

Horrific officiating, Okazaki going for a one arm take down on Mignolet.
First the Vardy free kick and then that.

All Mignolet has to do is fall down and it's a free out.

    Sigh.

    So let's recap.

There's a dive for the free kick that leads to the goal, the ref plays well past the alloted time, then there's a handball and a foul on the keeper for the goal from the corner.

Well done lads. Top class officiating.

    Heartbreaking.

Strange goal. Could have been ruled out could have been a pen and red for the keeper.

How can you blame them when first vardy dives and then the keeper is fouled.

The defence doesn't have to be brutal for every goal conceded, clearly Mignolet was impeded, not sure what you expect them to do in that scenario. It was actually good defending from Matip that led to the free. Hoddle and co praised Morgan for it earlier, here its a "needless foul". Still, the narrative needs discussion at HT so off with them.

Premier League officiating is nearly as bad as Gaelic football at this stage, they miss more than they get right. Can't wait for VAR, don't give a shîte how much it slows down the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭fyfe79

    My god.

    Vardy dive.
Yokozuna one-arm take-down attempt on Migs.
Maguire holds back the defender and punches it to the Asian lad.

    Absolute comedy gold.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Yeah foul on Mignolet, after a dive from Vardy too, ah well.

Lets recap - Matip needlessly fouled his man picking up a yellow card and Liverpool conceded at the second time of asking. Mignolet was obviously going to reach the ball and clear it. Stupid decisions costing again.
