Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A good 3 points for Liverpool but winning nothing until they learn to defend/kill off games. Its pathetic at this stage.

Hard to believe some of those Leicester players get paid to play football.

Pitty the ref didn't spot the can handball.

Liverpool players actually worked for it, you have to do that every game. They walk off like '' I was stressed and pushed 100% today tut tut ''
Dam right you were, and we expect it every time !

I hope England wont be relying on Vardy at the World Cup to take the last penalty in a penalty shootout :D

Relax fella, it was a joke, since Diego Alves has moved to Flamengo so not in Europe anymore.

The point of the conversation was that Mig is deceptively really good at something. Given our goalkeeping woes over the past 6 or so years, we'll take any positive we can cling to.

I love Liverpool winning and that.

But at this stage - we are fooling ourselves. The problems are not going away.

Imagine (can't see) Klopp all hugs and that - But again not good enough to be incapable of winning that game easy.

    They nearly drew with us.....
Glad we won but our defence is just an embarrassment now. 11 conceded in 6 games. Another 5 in 3 CL games.
    Hope Spartak are bad

It really wasn't. I enjoyed a good game of football. I love the "look at what we did, United!" instant reaction from some Pool fans only minutes after the team won their first game in almost a month.

And so do Barca, willing to make him the one of the most expensive players in the world, but I suppose you know more about football than those running one of the most successful clubs in the world in recent times

Fair enough if the match thread was a mess earlier on. Was watching the match and once my stream remained stable, I didn't chance it dropping by trying to keep up with the match thread on another tab.

We're not all chomping at the bit that much that I'd let your win ruin a good day for my own team. Not until you are within at least 3 points of United;)

Liverpool were brought up negatively on a number of occasions in United's match thread today without provocation, don't pretend like this stuff is one-way traffic.

Wonder why the article does not even mention Simon Mignolet.

Going by his states he has a saved percentage at the time of the article of 42.8 up to 46.7 now.

Ref was a joke some bad calls for that game but great to get the win

But considering there's no chance of it I image most couldn't care less.

Well going by the midweek reaction to Liverpool's loss there seems to be a lot of utd fans that do care.

Sure who knows if it was that straight forward what is the point of supporting any team.

I'm a Liverpool fan but I've never, ever understood Irish fans of Liverpool and Man Utd, or any other English team, sniping at each other like it means something and that they have some affiliation with either city. We all jumped on bandwagons and support big clubs because of their profile... Get over it... It's entertainment like wrestling or Eastenders, it's not real like hurling or LOI.

Not sure what your point is.....

Watching liverpool getting knocked out of the only cup they realistically could win this year was amusing.

Liverpool putting in a title challenge this year isn't going to happen.

If there was any fear of it, we'd "care" about results such as today.

As _this_ year it's irrelevant. I'd say "most" couldn't give a hoot.

In fairness it's amusing to listen to utd fans making out the league cup is a trophy worth winning. I really don't understand the arrogance of dismissing a team that finished so far ahead of utd in the league last year. The good days are gone kid.

    The worth was never mentioned.

But lets face it. It's not like klopp or Liverpool are that decorated of late that they should turn their nose up at any cup. Especially when it's the only one there was any chance of them winning.

Are they printing it now on tea cups in the club shop..

    2016/17 honours: Finished above united.

    What a year.
